San Antonio Missions, National Park Service, UNESCO World Heritage Site
The San Antonio Missions is the only UNESCO World Heritage Site in Texas. One park, four missions. These missions are the most complete and intact group of Spanish Colonial mission complexes in the world. Cascade Caverns
Located in Boerne, Texas. The caverns were discovered in the 1700’s by the Lipan Apache peoples, and the artifacts they left behind are still visible today. The cave was rediscovered in the 1840’s by youth from Kendall County who carved their initials into the stalactites in the First Room. These Cascade Caverns became the first private touring caves in Texas in the 1870’s and opened to the public in 1932. Come see what is happening Down Under!
